Brian Sholly Joins Chief Outsiders, Atlanta

Proven Entrepreneur Brings Global Business Expertise to Georgia’s Growing Businesses

HOUSTON, TX – May 7, 2012 - Businesses in the Atlanta region are getting a new resource as Roswell, Georgia based entrepreneur and proven business executive Brian Sholly joins the ranks of Chief Outsiders.  Chief Outsiders is the nation’s largest executive marketing organization focused on implementing market based growth plans for mid-size companies through fractional or part-time marketing executives.  As a Chief Outsider, Sholly will assist growth-oriented businesses as a fractional Chief Marketing Officer.

A veteran global business executive, Sholly has a strong growth record in software, technology, consumer product and start-up organizations.  He started his career at Procter and Gamble and progressed through the corporate ranks to become VP of Marketing at Verizon/GTE Wireless, President and Founder of Papa’s Hair Company, and eventually President of Kaplan Learning Technologies.  

As President of Kaplan, Sholly transformed the division into a global software business with 2 year growth of 24% through internal initiatives and strategic partnerships.  His visionary approach resulted in a multitude of successes for the company, including increased profit margins, increased sales and new product development.  Sholly is responsible for development of patent pending new product, PerformIT, a disruptive technology that will deliver scalable, cloud based and performance based testing.  It is currently in alpha testing with two major global 100 software and internet companies.
