20-year SaaS and Technology Marketing Veteran, Doug Bell, to Drive Rapid Revenue Growth for Chief Outsiders’ Clients

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – March 2, 2023 – Doug Bell, A 20-year marketing veteran, will now apply his extensive SaaS and technology industry experience to deliver immediate client revenue growth as a Fractional CMO for Chief Outsiders. Recently, Bell joined Chief Outsiders’ team of more than 125 Fractional Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and Fractional Chief Sales Officers (CSOs).

SaaS and Technology Marketing Leadership

For example, prior to joining Chief Outsiders, as Global VP of Marketing at Automation Anywhere, he delivered $70 million in ARR growth re-positioning the company from desktop automation to robotic process automation.  

As the CRO of Determine software, he tripled its pipeline and doubled quarterly ARR by creating a sales development team and an inbound demand generation machine. As VP of Marketing & Alliance for Arena Solutions, he created 4x pipeline growth while reducing sales cycles by 50% by focusing on SMB manufacturers with integrated community, customer marketing, and brand advocacy programs. 

Bell’s executive marketing experience includes five years at Searchmetrics, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Marketing Americas. He also served as Chief Marketing Officer at LeanData and Director of Product Marketing at I-many. Prior to his successful marketing career, Bell earned a BS in Finance from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
