Cohen connects with CEOs of high-growth technology and SaaS companies to launch, brand, and position companies for accelerated growth
BOSTON, MA – July 8, 2022 – Lori Cohen, an experienced Chief Marketing Officer with a stellar record of launching and growing enterprises, is the latest addition to the team at Chief Outsiders, which consists of experienced, part-time Chief Marketing Officers who engage on a consultative basis with small- and mid-sized businesses.

Cohen is noted as a data-driven, uber-creative CMO with deep experience in category creation and brand building – whether from inception, or through a relaunch process. Cohen is a full-stack marketer who leverages deep customer insights and story telling to drive revenue growth through digital marketing and content creation.
In her most recent role, as VP of Marketing for open source software and services company Percona, Cohen grew revenue by 40 percent in just one year – through the development of repeatable, predictable and scalable demand generation programs. Her brand building and lead generation skills have gained notice of CEOs and peers alike. Cohen earned 45 awards for technology company Veridium including the Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year in Security while serving as its CMO and a coveted spot in Mastercard’s Start Path Program. Her six-month plan to rename, reposition and relaunch the company gained it new product lines and territories, leading to major customer wins and revenue growth.
Cohen delivered similar results while serving in the lead executive marketing role for MST Services, Tesora, Mobiquity, and LimoLiner.
