She is a frequent speaker and writer on topics such as leadership, cultural diversity and creating an environment of success.
Prior to her successful international efforts, Fowler's “on-the-ground” strategies as CMO of Prudential’s start-up operation in Buenos Aires enabled it to exceed objectives by 25%. This prosperity occurred even as most competitors left Argentina during the country's financial crisis of 2001-2003. With premium and productivity levels rising some 300% over the national average, her operations received recognition as “Best Start-Up,” meeting or exceeding key objectives and earning significant awards as one of Argentina’s most admired companies.As VP of International Insurance, where she was responsible for Field Training and Development for Prudential’s Life Planner Operations, Fowler created the CMO Training Program utilized in nine countries. She implemented Field Personnel training programs that enhanced audit and compliance results by 20+ percent. She authored training manuals for agents and managers on target marketing, prospecting, recruiting, supervising, coaching and needs-based sales. Fowler also boosted international revenue, which accounted for more than 40 percent of Prudential’s profits.
Fowler’s previous stint as VP and CMO/Senior Advisor at Prudential’s operation in Poland produced extraordinary results as well. Accountable for recruiting, retention and sales results for 13 agencies nationwide, she led 200+ field associates while also directing home office marketing functions. Field associate opinion survey results improved by more than 20 percent during her tenure. She created and introduced new products that exceeded sales expectations by 15%. She also exceeded company targets by reducing the new associates’ field compensation expenses by 35% and reducing associate turnover.
Fowler earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Wittenberg University, her law degree from Wake Forest School of Law and her Master’s Degree in Taxation from New York University School of Law. In addition to her post as an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University, where she teaches international business and cross-cultural management, she continues to expand her deep knowledge of digital marketing, consumer products, intangible goods and people engagement.
