Kenn Adach Biography

Kenn is a highly effective and credentialed senior marketing executive consistently propelling businesses to accelerated growth and driving innovation. His experiences over his 25 years plus career are diverse and include leadership roles in Consumer Products, DIY and Medical Devices. He has also applied his experience and skills in B2B creating strong relationships and crafting win-win strategies. He is known for identifying key strategic issues and developing creative and comprehensive action plans that deliver results.

He began his career in sales with Unilever where numerous accomplishments led to positions of increasing responsibility before ultimately making the transition from sales to marketing. Kenn was most recently Vice President, Global Marketing & Sales reporting to the CEO for OraSure Technologies, a leader in medical diagnostic testing.

In this role, Kenn quickly leveraged his expertise to develop a comprehensive market research strategy, develop a compelling positioning, packaging, website and a communications strategy while building an internal team along with hiring an Ad agency, PR agency, Sales broker and building a 24/7/365 call center. He led widespread capabilities development including ecommerce, securing retailer agreements and developing the financial tools to recognize revenue. He led the organization to successfully launch the first in-home HIV test approved by the FDA, and it was also the first infectious disease test for self-use by a consumer.

Kenn has a relentless focus on uncovering critical insights that have been an essential element in developing winning strategies. He has successfully developed and launched over 50 innovative new products in multiple categories and has consistently delivered market share gains in highly competitive markets.

Previously, Kenn held senior leadership roles with Bausch & Lomb, Playtex, Sherwin Williams and Unilever. He has demonstrated the ability to lead in both large and small organizations.

He received a BS in Business/Marketing from the University of South Carolina and earned an MBA from Rutgers University, graduating with honors. Kenn lives in Redding, Connecticut with his wife and their beloved golden retrievers. He enjoys golf and other sports, gardening and is an avid animal lover.
